8\" or 10\"

i'm about to buy some 33x13-16 super swampers and was wondering if i should use 16x8s or 16x10s. i've heard wide rims make the tire shorter. since they're only 33s i don't want 'em to look too short. either one is fine with me, what do you guys think?

Re: 8\" or 10\"

Why 16" wheels? Tires are cheaper for 15" and it's very easily done on an 8 lug axle.

I'd go 10" wide no matter what you choose, but I personally like the 15s better than 16s, and a lot more than 16.5s.

I agree, go with 15x10's, cheaper tires and the 10's give you room to move up in tire size later if you want.
