I have access to free pair of 8 spring camper leafs from my 98 k2500, was wondering if first of the springs from the 3/4 ton 98' match up to my 84 k5 and if it's worth using. I currently have 5 leaf springs they look like they might have a small amount of lift to them but I'm not sure. I have a 6" suspension lift with like 4-5" of blocks (I'm going to swap out for a shackle flip)..

A 98 will have longer springs (63") than your 84 (52" or 56")
You can use those springs, a lot of people do when they do a shackle flip since they have a new spring hanger and they can put it anywhere they want.
The 8 leaf however will be good for towing, not so much for off road.
Too stiff.
