8 to 6 lug conversioin?

hmm, I'm actually in the middle of doing this myself. My reasons for doing it are that i need my truck back on the road ASAP and changing over my front to 8 lug, and buying new wheels / mounting my tries etc. would have taken too much time. Basically, yes it's possible. With some work. I am getting my adapters for my 14 bolt from TonyP (a member here). Just requires the hubs to be turned down a bit to fit the 6 lug rim, no biggie. My suggestion would be: Become a member, then PM him and ask him if he'll make you some /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I think the only things you would have to change on the 10bolt front axle are the rotor/hub and disk backing plate on the front.

If you want strike up a deal on swapping parts I need the 8lug backing plates /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif I'm in the same situation... 8lug rear and wheels but I have a 6lug front axle.

Ive 2 brand new 8 lug adapters sitting around. I had planned on using them but a Dana 60 all of a sudden came my way. I have been wanting to rid of them, I bought them from a member here for 200 including shipping.

i have a question about these things, how do they work, and do they like just bold up or what, does it work like a spacer and make your tires stick out more, im very interested, just dunno how they work...thanks
