Can't tell for sure but the hook on the right side looks like its got some deep gouging at the 4:00 position on the curved part of it?

Could be. Want to make sure it's not torn up metal so the straps don't tear against it.

Inspected thoroughly. Hooks have very light oxidation, no scale or pitting. No tweaks noted. Hooks are as forged from factory, no anomalies, normal forging characteristics. Polish with flapper wheel or dynafile if you want them perfectly smooth.
