I wish someone can pick this up for me so I can get it later.http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/pts/2148698759.html

I was pondering the other day that the easiest way to make an etc cab would be to shorten a crew cab and fill the rear door openings with shorten door skins....
Just thinking out loud...
I was just thinking that looking at these pics just an hour ago.
I have a good candidate too, a little rusty cab that I don't feel bad about cutting.
Yeah I think the question in most peoples mind though is why not just build a SWB crew cab when youve got the cab already.

Because there are plenty of short bed CC now, everyone wants to make one.
But the ext cab, not so much.
I remember 14 years ago in Fourwheeler mag there was one that a guy built using the back half of a later model GM truck.
It was a big thing and still is, so why not?
I might build a short bed ext cab while I am at it.

See if I actually did one I'd build a ext cab trazer. Front of the rear tire like right against the back of the cab.
Watch for a new post.![]()

Was that the yellow one? I remember that done real clean and very nice, a short box extended cab would be very very cool

an extra cab, short bed would be a sweet platform...
