UPDATE! $1200.00 selling as parts only. would like to sell as complete truck. It wouldn't smog and was tagged a gross polluter. The state will give me $1000 for it, but if someone wants it for parts you can come and get for $1200.00

If no one is interested I may part some of it, only to the point where the state will still take it.

would you sell the two hooks off the front of it? I got some from a buddy of mine but they don't bolt up on my frame w/o hitting the bumper b/c they aren't twisted, just straight...anyways if you'd sell them what do you want for them?

Wish you were closer. I'd buy it in a heart beat. Ebay before you sell to the state to crush!!!

If I don't get any hits for it whole, I will pull some parts to sell off. I can hold you the hooks if you don't mind waiting. I don't have time right now to pull parts.

I would e-bay it but out here in CA you can't sell a vehicle without smog unless you sell it as parts only.

this can still be driven home, tags don't expire until July.

You can't sell it "as is" and sign something between you and the buyer? Yeah whenever is fine I'm in no hurry we don't leave until the second week of July.

Yea, i guess you could, but I believe the seller is still legally responsibe for getting it smogged. Thats why the price is so low, if I could smog it I could probably get a little more for it. The way I look at it is if I parted it out I would probably only get around $1000 anyway, giving it to the state I get my 1000 plus I don't have to disassemble it.

Thats so sad dude...although the state parts them out still...my dad found this old caddy that he was interested in at a local junk yard and they said they could only sell it for parts and then eventually had to crush it. :( Stupid Cali!

It doesn't bother me too much, this is my old blazer. I used the original motor from this one and put it into a different K5 that was in much better condition, just had a blown motor, so I still have a Blazer.

That is just such a shame that a perfetcly good blazer has to be destroyed. If you lived in texas i would buy it 1200 is a good price. I would have no problem getting it registered.
EDIT: I am so glad i dont live in Cali.

Is that thing as rust free as it looks? What a shame, a nice truck sent to the crusher, that makes me sad.:( If only you were closer. Bummer man! I hope somebody works out a way to buy it for parts from you and then put it back into running order.
