I am looking at a 82 K20 tonight that the owner claims has a D60 up front. I thought the K20's came with a D44. The price is right so I am hoping it does have a 60 and 14bff out back. Anyone got any idea? Any clue on the transfer case too? 205?

82 K20 Diesel axle combos?

th400 or th700r4 trans, NP208, and 8 lug 10 bolt front and a 14 bolt full floater rear.
It'd be a TH400 or SM 465 in the 3/4 ton. Agreed on the diff's.

Might not even have the 14ff rear, seen more without than with. Actually, never seen one with a full floater.....
