Fitting everything and designing the catch can.
Can is a two chamber design. I'll stuff it with steel or copper wool to catch the oil.

Catch can is 3 inch aluminum tube. Bookended by 3/8 plate. I went with 3/8 to help with minimize warping.

This whole setup sits on the battery tray and inner fender.
The intake tube from the filternisnt ideal, but it'll do for.
I also opened up the opening in the core support to let more air flow in.

Yes, 3 batteries! One of my next projects is to permanently mount an inverter in the truck. 1 of the 3 batteries will be isolated from the others.
Thats the plan at the moment for now, lol. It's always open to change.

I run 2 group 31 batteries in modified factory trays on mine. I've got one of these I got like 9 yrs ago for free. Not sure if it will make it into the back of my blazer or on my crew cab or my super duty some day. Pretty heavy.
You could power your whole house with that!
Not sure the exact amp rating on mine LOL. I'll have to look. We used to use them in our utility trucks and then switched over to pure sin wave 3000w inverters.
