Had this for along time did lots of wheeling. Mild lift 63" rear springs. Parts from a 89 tbi truck.
Then got married kinda lost interest almost sold her but didnt.

Then one day I'm looking at the battery body and soon a grinder and Sawzall within reach.

Currently like this.

Double triangulate the front and rear.

Was going to order tube for suspension links but I'm stuck deciding on 2" Dom or 2"square tube. Square 2"x.25 wall is a fraction of the cost.

Suspension links will be 40" or so probbly have to redo my crossmembers.

Also want to get rid of the boat anchor transfer case

Are you using heims or something else? There are weld in bungs for square tube. Ruffstuff among others have them. Coils, air shocks/struts, coilovers?

I am going to go dual triangulated 4 link rear and 3 link front on my Raider build that is also on here. I am going to use Ruffstuff's kits with heims and Jeep coils. Total for the two kits with tube and all the options I want is ~$2,200 but I would get it on a 20% off sale so around $1,750. Still a lot of money though and I am running short these days. This hobby is expensive.

I may do a 4 link front with pan bar in till I can swing the full Hydro steering. I think balistics fab weld on balisticjoints on one end(frame) with adjustable bushings on the other with adjustable upper mounting points so pinion angle is adjustable.

I'm shooting for close to level links at ride height so uppers will have to have some creative routing to clear the oil pan.

Thinking about coil springs to.
Maybe build holders for some coil over springs with hiem joints on each
Then later get the coil over bodies

On second thought that would be way to much work.

I wonder if to coils would be to stiff. Then need a decent shock to so there's 150 maybe 200 bucks a corner.
2.0 air shocks are 250. Foa coil overs are 350 without remote resivor.

Ohhhh it was a 6 year process. The shell got so beat up in the rocks it was no good doors wouldn't shut anymore.

I half thought about doing a 4 door cab but the fenders to take up to much realistate. Not to mention I was stuck wedged in rocks because sheet metal was contacting before rubber

My cummins exhaust I fabbed from down pipe to the exit.

Sorry I'm bored. Egt still run high so thinking to go 5"
