83 Blazer value ???

A friend of mine has a 83 with a trashed diesel and 700r4. He also has a 305 with an unknown tranny attached. The Blazer is in good shape. He wants to know what the value for the whole deal is. I haven't a clue and would like to offer some advice. Any ideas? Thanks all!

any extra parts
does the 305 run (how many miles on it)
