just got my jimmy, guy had the wrong spring on the governor linkage, so I went to the junkyard and pulled one off of a 7.3 db2, I put it in and eyeballed the adjustment to how the 7.3 was, idle is better but truck is still very shaky at idle like it wants to die, way better than it was but I need to know the stock adjustment so I can get this running smooth , the picture attached is the ip of the 7.3, only had that picture on my phone, but that connector is what I adjusted and the small spring is what I re installed on my 6.2, anyone know the proper adjustment for stock?

Well, here's the manual for that pump. What you'll find is that there's an initial installation procedure to get things in the ballpark, but the final adjustment is done with specialized bench testing gear. There isn't a final adjustment specification based upon a mechanical measurement. This is the case because springs are slightly different and their springiness changes over time.

Since you don't likely have the bench testing gear, you'll either have to play with it to get it feeling/sounding right or take it to a pump shop.

FWIW, I'm not sure why you believe a rough idle to be the product of the governor spring setting. :dunno:
