I have a 83 Blazer(body) with a 84 front clip on a 90 model chassis and running gear with a 94 6.5 td (electronic not mechanical) engine.
Skip to the paragraph below if you dont want to here the story of how the blazer came to be from so many year models. It began life as a 90 6.2L diesel and it was lifted and bumpers and painted then I decided I wanted more power so i bought a 94 model suburban with a electronic 6.5td, i changed the the turbo and all the hoses, lines, down pipe, exhaust, eprog chip, and injectors. The wiring was all done very neatly and was a daily driver. I got out of 4 wheeling and into drag racing and sold the blazer and financed to a family friend. He end up flipping it, well his drunk dd flipped it. He then bought a 83 body to put on it and turned the motor to mechanical cause he couldnt figure it out. Then he stopped making payments on it and gave it back to me. So I bought a 94 truck with a blown 6.5td and turned it back electronic. And to fix the front end i bought a 84 suburban. It is now ready to go with new paint(well red "rhino line") and 4x4 iron bumpers and a soft top. Any way thats its story in a nut shell, I would like to thank everyone for there help in advance.

My question to yall is when i hit the ignition to turn over the motor i automatically blow a gauge/idle fuse and the gauges wont work. It will crank fine but i have no gauges. It sounds like a short to me but i dont know where to begin I have a mess of wires under the dash.

UPDATE: I got the gauges working i found a pink and black wire broke in half and that fixed it, but when i fixed that the glow plugs stopped working that have power to the relay and not on the other side of the relay. Any thoughts, comments, suggestion, or general discussion would be appreciated.
