83 K5 all lights work except my brake lights. The previous builder I bought my blazer from was a rocket scientist when it came to electrical in my blazer haha NOT. I fixed everything and it all works except my rear brake lights, as far as just not working when you hit the brakes. My chiltons manual says the two wires coming out of the switch on the pedal is a orange to the fuse box and white to the harness on the steering column. The wires on my switch were light blue and a dark brown, maybe an old black. The wires were not connected but I found two cut wires in the dash that were the same color. There was no power to either of them and I ran out of drive to finish it. Just thought I would get some inputs on here before I tackle it tomorrow since everyone on here has been pretty helpful on all my other questions. Thanks

I just ran new wires for the switch and tagged the white wire on the column plug. Took 15 minutes thank god.
