83 M1008 CUCV , wont turn over .

swapped the motor from one 1008 to another and it wont turn over . they are both converted to 12v .the gps arnt heating up either , the relay is making noise and the light comes on but there seems to be no power going to them , how do i convert to a manual setup ? -Andy /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

There should be a blue wire going to the GP controler, you want to ground that wire.
If you're good with electrical it's very easy, wire a relay inline with a toggle switch to the ground and the other side to the blue wire.
