84-79 Interchange Questions

Bought an 84 parts Jimmy last week and going to use it for my 79 Jimmy. I have a few questions that yall might be able to help me with.

1. Column- How hard would it be to pt the new column in the 79? I know the wipers were moved on the 84 and that is why I want it in the 79.

2. Front Clip- Anyone have any pics they can send me to make the interchange easier? Also tips that you wish you knew before you started.

to convert to 84 up wipers you would need at least dash harness and maybe the wiper motor too from the 84

i dont know what else though


everything else would be fine cept i think dimmer switch is in column begining in 84 also, the harness swap will fix that too
