Looking for one of the connectors shown in the attached photo.

I was trying to put a flat 4 trailer wiring harness into Big Ugly only to discover that GM apparently used up the rest of their older style (84 and down I think) tail light wiring harness connectors on the CUCV's. It's a round plug up by the driver's side frame rail near the rear bumper.

Then I noticed that someone, probably the military, had done a "field expedient" fix after one of the four blades in the connector was pulled out of it's socket or something. They rerouted that particular wire around the plug. Ingenious quick fix but means I can't get all of my trailer lights to work without either fixing this or further "field expedient" wiring to make it work with my new wiring harness.

Anybody have one of these in good shape? Even better would be a few extra inches of wires so I can just cut and splice mine in.

I can't find it but I should have what you need... I had a trailer light adapter and the connectors/wiring that was attached to it that I pulled off of my '73 when I made it into a trailer. I cut the connectors off and hardwired the taillights into a new wiring harness at that point. Now if I could just find where everything went :doah:

If kenny can't find it , I have the back harness off the truggy I was building , and an unmolested trailer adapter to plug right into it :thumb:

Thanks guys, lemme know.

God I love this place.

I actually have the trailer adaptor...just need to fix the factory wiring so I can make it work correctly!

If his is handy take it... I'll have to clean my garage again to find it and not sure when that will happen right now. Although I did find a ton of parts I forgot I had in the process of looking for this one piece.

I only really need the half of the plug that has the blades. However I'd like both halves and a few inches of all the wires on each side. That'd be ideal just in case I find more problems.
