I think the more important was the crew cab not the K30
I was looking for crew cabs and I passed it then I noticed your name and the 8.1 so remembered that would be it since he got the newer truck.
But not everyone knows you to put 3 + 3 together.

Any details on the 8.1L install? Can you outline what was involved with putting the SM465 behind it?

The guy who owns the truck owns pacificfab.net. Its a shop that specializes in swapping vortec motors. I think you just need a flywheel from gm performance that allows you to put older sticks behind it. Other then that it bolts up minus a bolt.
Has far as the harness and ecm, we can take care of those for you. We can also supply a motor, although shipping would come into play.
The power must be good since his new truck has an 8.1 too. He loves the truck and doesnt want to sell it, but doesnt have the room/money for 2 one ton duallys.

nope but i think he mentioned something about maybe being able to help with delivery as far as towing, but not sure if he wants to go that far.
