I have a 1984 GMC Jimmy that I have recently saved from a life in the weed patch. It has been setting since 05. Engine spins freely it is not locked up. I put a fresh battery in it and "bumped" the key. It tuned over fine with no trouble. Poured a little gas down the carb and tried to start it again, it cranked for about two seconds and quit. I lost all power to the truck. I have checked all fuses, and the battery is still good. I have checked most of the wiring and it all looks to be ok. I am at a loss! Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
