84 K20 "Ethel" Not an Sbc/NV4500/241C

Semi restoration of a 1984 K20 pickup. 5.3 LS, nv4500, np241c.
I run open-track days at Pacific Raceway. A friend, who races a Miata, once commented to me that I sucked him inside out going around him on the front straight... here, as with the Hellcat 'race' this is the image that runs through my mind.

I'm guessing that Ethel really is fighting this daily driver thing..
I had a really strange click or tapping sound the we couldn't isolate but was traveling down the the driver side axle, I almost thought it was the new np241 tcase I installed! Yea right..
no it has to be the rear end, several faces of these spiders are chipped or chunked and the gear oil smells amazing!!!
So basically when I have been out stealing pinks from hellcats is taking its toll.. now to search for a FF14 bolt..
