Up for sale is my 84 K30, this is a southern truck, with very little rust, and all of its original sheet metal.
Here's the specs:
5.9 Cummins from a 97 Dodge 3500, Factory 215 hp, p-pump, has new timing gear case (updated version, so killer dowel pin is no longer a concern), new dowel pin, engine is completely stock, donor truck had 190k on the clock.
Engine is bolted in using mounts from Tennessee diesel conversions, Clutch hydraulics from them as well.
Bolted behind that is a fully rebuilt NV4500 from the same donor, equipped with a 13" valair clutch rated for 500 hp/900 ft lbs of torque, clutch engages very smoothly and tranny shifts flawlessly.
Up next we have an np205 from a first gen cummins truck.
Factory gm driveshafts connect the transfer case to the original axles, Dana 60 front, Dana 70 rear 3.73 ratio.
Crossover steering setup from ORD, Jeep XJ steering shaft.
King pins and brakes all around (except for drums) have less than 5k on them.
Exhaust is 3" off the turbo, opening up to 4" just past the transfer case, straight through muffler and a 5" stainless tip.
The interior was redone by a previous owner with new carpet, reupholstered rear seat, front seat is from a 2001 dodge, upholstered door panels and head liner.
Its rolling on 6 brand new bf goodrich km2 255/85 16's.
This truck runs and drives perfectly, it's ready for work, play, towing, whatever you can throw at it. It handles a big Lance slide in camper, with a car trailer and race jeep in tow with ease.
I've put less than 5k on it since i put it together, but have been all over new england with it and wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.
It's just getting due for it's first ever round of rust repair to the rockers, cab corners, and rear door bottoms. If perfection is your thing, it does need some finishing touches put on it, but nothing that could prevent you from using it daily. I'm asking $14,000 or best realistic offer, you cant build it for this money, let alone have it built by an ase master mechanic of 20+ years. (yes me)
There is an old build thread on this truck if you'd like to see pics of it going together.
Please pm me all inquiries as I don't check in here all that often.
I can e-mail more pics to seriously interested parties.
Located in Canterbury CT.
Delivery may be negotiated.
