Mud Slut
This is my fiance's build and my new yard art! haha. Just when you think you've caught up on your projects, in rolls another. haha. We found this rig in its current shape, my fiance wanted a trail rig to go play in and not have to worry about keeping clean or pretty
Plus she wanted to keep her DD, a '93 K1500, from seeing any more beating than it had to.
From what we know,
305/700r4/208
10 bolts 4.56 gearing (PO had the swap done)
31X10.5X15 Mud terrains (can you imagine.......?????? 31" tire and 4.56s??)
Silverado package (PL, PW, AC that was removed)
Its been sitting in a field for a few years now, the PO killed the current boat anchor 305 (lost a rod or a main bearing) havent tried starting it yet to see what the issue is, but the plan is to replace it with a later model 1-piece rear main seal 350 with Vortec heads and a carb manifold, Comp 4x4 cam, shorty headers and some flowies to top it off.
The plan is to do a 6 inch kit with 37s or 38s,leaf springs but still able to navigate trails. Crossover steering and a few other goodies are also planned. Chromo shafts and 8 lug hub swap in the front and a 14BFF in the back to manage the weight and power.
Revamp of the interior, includes a complete stereo system and subs. Removal of carpet and bedline the floors. Seat covers, or possibly different seats all together. Retaining the rear seat. Incorperating a cage, winch bumper in the front and a fabbed rear bumper. Quick release top and some fishin pole holders
And it turns out my baby is a hell of a car buyer!! Knocked the guys price down $600 right off the bat!!! And I paid for half as a Merry Christmas present
