Well i went to give her a tune up and now it won't start. So I put the old coil and cap back on and stillnothing. I am not getting any spark at the plug ( i pulled one back out and held it against the frame and I can get no spark.) The pink wire goes into the cab but I cannot tell where it goes from there nor could I find a blown fuse. Someone please help. I am new to the Blazers but I am not a noob at working under a hood. Also I ran a wire from the hot of my battery to the pink wire to see if it would fire off, and it did not. Please help, where do I look first?

its HEI and maybe its just the fuse near the ac-unit. happened to me once on the 74. its a glass fuse on the fire wall

also when i did the tune up, once i was finished i tried to start it, it started and ran for like 2 seconds and then it died and has not started back up. I put the old cap rotor and coil back on and it still does not run. I double checked the fireing order it is correct. I am not getting any spark

Did you take the whole distributor off or loosen the adjustment nut on the block at all? Maybe messed up the timing?

after it would not start i loosened off the dis nut but I have not moved it, and even if I had moved it, it would stillbe sparking just not at the right time.?.

i think you can test the module. get a dmm and measure the voltage to the wires that would plug into the module, if there is a little voltage at the wires when you crank it, the i think the module is bad.

i'm not 100% sure though on that procedure, sorry, memory ain't so good.
