84 to 90 gmc jimmy body swap

ok guys ive had a 1990 jimmy for awhile the floor is rotted out just got 1984 with a great tub. now the question i was wondering how a body swap would be the 90 has 350 with lift and tires good frame the 84 is a hack job but good tub my main concern is the wireing will everything plug in or am i guna need to get new wireing hareness any info will help guna start stripping front clip and interior tommorrow

Youll have to swap out the body and engine harness. A lot changed from 84-90. Fuel injection, electronic speedo just to name a couple. Everything will bolt up though.

Would it be easier to switch to carburetor and switch out the np241 for the np208 or is there another need for all the electronic stuff or is switching out the wiring harness guna be easier thanks for the quick reply
