My 85 C10...TH350/2:73/305 puked its 305 a couple years back and I just tossed in a slightly warmed 350 with.

I just cant get the holley tuned up right. Ive had some neighboors who are local stock car racers help me with it also. The timing is good but still stumbles bad off idle and dies constantly till slightly warm, then it will idle fine but has NO power off idle. Im guessing the cam was for about the 1300 to 5600 rpm range so I know that I need a stall converter for the trans. but my real question is that Im looking for a trouble free carb to install without the hassle of tuning all the time. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
