85 C10 Mistress Cheap Truck

So I got tired of looking at the cost of these trucks, and was kicking around left over LS swap parts and random things in the garage. I found this Gem on offer up with a rod knock complete for $2,000 I thought it was only correct if I bring it home with the 82 towing it.
I bought a 5.3 complete for $650 and a 4l60e for $250 Already had the fuel system off my 82 to go with it so bought a gas tank and some headers. I think so far I'm somewhere into this about $5000
Here is a few pictures and the progress I have made. Over the year of owning it we stripped the engine and trans out, and painted the frame. Everything else has been done in the passed 10 days.

Original unjoints in it, the odometer says 68k and doesn’t look like it’s rolled over!
