Howdy! Inherited a Jimmy Sierra Classic, not running. I believe ck5 is a
Denver-area org? Looking for someone knowledgeable -- whom I would pay -- who
would be willing to come by and educate/advise me on getting her up and
running. Gotta meet Metro Denver smog requirements (I'm in Arvada). VIN
indicates 305, but brother put in a Goodwrench crate 350. Any advice, point
me in the right direction? A million thanks! Cheers, Matt

There are plenty of members around you.

Ck5 has members worldwide though.

If it doesn't run check for fuel, if it had fuel, check for spark

Also check for timing, the easiest way to reset your timing on a 350 engine is to follow the spark plug for the first cylinder to the distributor, make sure the rotor for the distributor is turned to the first cylinder contact point, pull the distributor all the way out, and turn the crankshaft till the first cylinder is on its compression stroke at the top arch of the crank, then replace the distributor and you should be at perfect timing, you may have to adjust the distributor a little to get it completely on point, but that will get you in the area of getting it started
