ive been lurking around this site for quiet a while now and i figure now is a good time to tell you what ive been up to. (pics will be posted soon)
a few years ago i bought an 87 jimmy for cheap, and it has been my never ending project. but the body is pretty rusted and it burns some oil. so i picked up my 85 6.2 GMC with ATS turbo and have started to swap over some of the parts. i just want a truck that i can use to dd and tow my toys to the sand dunes with so no major wheeling will be involved. but here are my plans for this truck... im going to install the 6" lift off the blazer, with all new bushings in the front along with zero rates to center the axle in the wheelwells. then im going to get some blocks for the rear just to match the height of the front. new bearings and seals in the axles, extended brake lines, new lf fender, and a red rustoleum paint job. let me know what you guys think
