One of a kind

1985 Chevy Silverado K30 4x4 1 ton utility truck. 6.2 L Diesel with a FULL Banks Sidewinder Turbo Kit. NP205 Transfercase, SM465 Manual Transmission, Dana 70 Dually Rear axle, Dana 60 Front axle, 4.56 gears. Starts up every time! Runs and drives great! Comes with crane jack, vice, spare tire and rim, has Oem Jack, utility lights, extra used turbo, extra new turbo, extra new Banks air filter, extra glow plugs, and extra gaskets. Has good tires, great heater, A/C parts if you want it, extra belts, behind seat storage pocket caddy. Pyro, tach and boost gauge. New matching convex mirrors, new power steering pump, new rear view mirror, fresh tune on ip, CB antenna. Block heater. New horn button. New Coolant reserve tank. Newer Interstate battery.

It has a lot of power.

Could use a new ignition switch, tilt column is kinda loose, tach and pyrometer gauge flicker off and on, guessing bad grounds. Driver utility box rear door bent. Can be bent back with a rubber mallet. Light cancer in cab corners. OEM stereo no worky. AC bezel vent fins broken but have a replacement.

The more work I do to it while waiting to sell, the higher the price goes.

$8,500 OBO

Located in Belgrade, Montana.

Send me a pm if serious! Video of it running great if requested.

My favorite color combo.

It is definitely a unique combo! So far I have bought a new horn button, new coolant reserve tank and fixed some of the PO Jerry Rig wiring.

I have a guy coming to look at it tomorrow. If he does not buy it, I will add a new stereo and raise the asking price.

Why is it exempt from emissions?
Because the government says so. ;-)

This sticker usually comes on CUCV motors. Very rare to see it on a civilian model. Usually that indicates the motor has been swapped at some point in its life. These stickers are no longer made and can not be bought. It is a very cool feature! Especially in California.

Well in CA any diesel pre 1998 is exempt if it's 14000lb gvwr or lower

My 90 3/4 ton is exempt. As I remember on the times before, the higher the weight rating the longer they were exempted. Diesel was in a class by itself.

Couple more additions for the new owner. I replaced the horn button, coolant reserve tank that was leaking pretty bad. I ordered a new ignition and door lock kit. I plan on fixing the loose steering column tilt at the same time I do the ignition. I am also going to order a new Stereo and install it. So far the price for the truck is the same.

That's how I happen to own 23 vehicles.
It becomes hard to let go when you clean them up
Damn! 23? I only have 3 at the moment. Yeah it’s tough to get rid of a badass truck that is paid off. Definitely worth keeping for awhile longer with some upcoming projects. It’s already hauled a few trips to the landfill.

Yeah I only start selling when I don't have work

Good looking rig!
Thanks! I’ve been searching high and low for a nv4500 with the 6.5 belhousing to do a swap on this truck… Can’t find any unless I buy a whole truck lol!

This is going to be an easy slow build. Guess I’ll just keep posting all the stuff I do to it and if anyone offers a decent price, I might take the offer.

I picked up a single wheel 87 V30 service truck a while back. The plan was to do a bit of work and use it as a winter and camping truck but life happened. You'll get it sold no worries there I'm sure. Good luck!

Life always happens… You just gotta roll with the punches and punch back harder! Two jobs helps too…

The 6.2 bellhousing is just a chevy bellhousing.
The only thing is the nv4500 came with a passenger side slave but you can make a sm465 bellhousing adapted to the nv4500 for a driver side slave.
If you don't already have the bellhousing I have one for sale
