asking $3000...I have given up on the title..you can try and get it if you want to...or swap parts...I have done a lot of work to it...it's just sitting in the backyard collecting dust...if I don't sell it in 1 month I'm gonna part it out...PM me with any questions....I can deliver it within about 100 miles..thank you.

have to wind it up to get it to shift...TV cable I think needs adjusting
rear window only goes half way up...haven't had time to check it

I have a TON of extra parts and another set of rims...kept all original parts...and i'm sure i'll think of some more stuff....if you are interested PM me..and if I don't sell it is getting parted out so if you are interested in soemthing post it up and it'll be first come first serve.

Nice K5 set up! Won't that motor kill your tranny with torque? As for the title just file for lost title at the DMV, which is five bucks I think, and they'll send you a new one. I had to do that a year ago for my truck!
 
It's more complicated than just filing for a lost title...I already have a thread on the title...thanks for your advice but I don't want to turn this into another here's how you get your title thread...Thanks though.

Yes sir I did...took it off of the same 96 that the turbo came off of...serp belt was easy to install, but finding the RIGHT wiring diagram for the CS130D alternator was a pain in the butt.
 
Not to hijack your thread, but did you just have to swap the pulleys? IIRC the alternator is the only accessory you must swap due to it spinning backwards. Correct?
 
Had to swap the alternator cause the other one doesn't fit, the water pump cause it spins a different way and had to get a shorter serp belt 100 inches because I used the original vacuum pump on the back of the motor...I think that's it.
 
Hmmm. A friend just invited me to Central Coast California May 1st, for a Corvair show, I'd like to visit his wife, she's ill... and I just bought a '61 Corvair Rampside Pick Up TEERUK in Arizona.... And I just spoke to a guy in Reno with a super clean '88 Suburban 4x4 gas, CHEAP!
Why do I look at these things!!!???
