I'm selling my project Blazer that I've had for the past year and a half. I had big plans for it but over the spring, I picked up a 72 that I'm going to build instead so this one has to go. Here are the specs:
148K 305 V8
PS, PW, PB
3" Rancho lift (spring front, block rear)
Like-new 33" BFG A/T clones
Removeable top
Sun visor
Power rear window
The following items were installed w/n the last few monthes but have like 5 miles on them:
NEW 700R4 trans
NEW Custom 1900 stall TC
NEW dual exhaust
NEW headers
NEW front driveshaft Ujoints
Recent tune up (Plugs, wires, rotor/dist, fuel & air filters, belts etc).
All fluids are new
NEW battery
NEW IN BOX "wake-up" kit from 700Raptor.com (basically a shift kit).
Replaced the drivers side rocker and part of the floor due to rust.
The AC didn't work when I got it so I cut out the lines and took out the compressor. The condensor and box are still there so if you got new lines and a compressor, I'm sure it would work fine. The paint is shot. I already started sanding it down to do a driveway paint job. I have a case of flat black that I bought for it but don't have the time to do it so that will go with the Blazer. The body is straight, very little signs of rust. The front inner fenders are rusted, very common problem. Clean interior.
It runs and drives decent, though the Quadrajet carb could be swapped out for something better, like an Edelbrock. It smokes on start up, pass. side valve seals are probably shot.
This truck would be perfect for a cheap offroad project/winter beater, which is what I wanted to do with it but now with the 72, I can't afford both. Its NOT inspected or registered so I haven't had it out on the road. Its currectly at JNZ Tuning in Hatfield so if someone wanted to drive it, their driveway is about 1/4 mile so there good room to move it around some. It will be available to look at next week.
