1985 Chevy K5 Blazer...350...auto...700r4...NP208...Edelbrock Intake...Holley Carb

128,000 miles on odometer...previous owner said the engine was changed 2 years ago and had no idea how many miles were on it. 32x12.50x15 tires on AR aluminum wheels (Tires on their last miles.) 6'' of lift, combo of 4'' suspension (springs NO blocks) and 2'' body.

Runs strong, Shifts as it should, 4WD works fine EXCEPT it needs a driver side lockout.

Lights, heat, etc work EXCEPT some of the heat outlets in the dash are not connected.

All guages work EXCEPT engine temp guage.

Power windows and locks work. Radio works.

I never attempted to open the rear hatch due to all of the latch parts are missing inside the hatch. Hinges and hinge area look rusty. Rear glass cranks up and down but the crank handle is broken.

Typical Blazer rust. Cargo area floor needs replaced. Floor in front of rear seat needs replaced. (LMC has the panels) Pic below shows second from rear driver side body mount protruding through floor of cargo area due to rust. Other body mounts appear to NOT have rusted through yet.

Fenders, rockers, doors have typical Blazer rust.

Would make a great bogger or sand runner or off road truck. With the floors repaired/replaced it would be a good daily driver. Mechanically it is in good shape and runs well. 2 weekends ago I drove it 400 miles round trip to WV in 8 hours with no problems at all.

When my daughter's 88 was having it's last bout of tranny problems I bought this to use for parts if needed. We got her tranny repaired, relatively cheaply, and now this Blazer is just sitting.

I also have a set of 35x12.50x15 Goodyear Wrangler AT/S tires (60-70% tread) mounted on Chevy truck wheels (plus a new spare) that can go with the Blazer for an additional $200.00

I need to get $1500.00 for this truck. If you aren't interested, maybe you know someone who might be????

PM or email me!!! Thanks for looking!!!

Al

Just want to get it to the top for the weekend.

Doesn't anyone want a K5 that is a good, solid, mecanically sound platform for building that daily driver or bogger? This one already has the lift (4'' of it is suspension and it's springs NOT blocks!!) and shocks and dual steering stabilizers. Good frame, runs down the road straight as an arrow, only issue is it needs the driver side lockout (how much could that be??) and it's good throughout the drivetrain.

The only problem with this truck is rust. We all know about Blazer rust. But how many have you seen that were really strong runners?????

Thanks,
Al
