It is going to be tough to find a NOS or one from a Salvage Yard. I found my extra one at salvage yard off an 1983 Surburban with endgate.
This is from Motor City K5 ... You would need to de-pin the existing harness and spade them on as indicated in the instructions. I would not cut the harness and just de-pin the leads that way if you every do get a factory switch you would re-pin the leads back to the harness.

I would recommend starting a new post in the technical forum for the truck. This is a classified ad that won't be rear by most people who may be able to help you.
