It has an "X" brace and i'm a proponent of the "X". Very strong when you have one.
They kinda suck in the pickups though. Biggest problem we had was, no good way to get Stomper's seat mounted without hitting his head on the "X".
We did manage to get the seat back just a tad bit further with the "Y" so that helped and plenty of head room now.
For this application the inverted Y will be plenty strong. There are actually two "B" pillar bars on his truck and the verticals in the cab are quite populated.
I still need to get the passenger seat mounted and the seat belt bar in place. Couple seat belt tabs. All in all, pretty close to finished in the cab. The rest can be done after paint. Speaking of paint.... Getting very close. I need to make a check list.
