'85 on big tars.(pics & video)

It has an "X" brace and i'm a proponent of the "X". Very strong when you have one.

They kinda suck in the pickups though. Biggest problem we had was, no good way to get Stomper's seat mounted without hitting his head on the "X".

We did manage to get the seat back just a tad bit further with the "Y" so that helped and plenty of head room now.

For this application the inverted Y will be plenty strong. There are actually two "B" pillar bars on his truck and the verticals in the cab are quite populated.

I still need to get the passenger seat mounted and the seat belt bar in place. Couple seat belt tabs. All in all, pretty close to finished in the cab. The rest can be done after paint. Speaking of paint.... Getting very close. I need to make a check list.

talked with Kert the other day, its for headroom, Brett has a big noggin'!

That turned out bitchin Kert...I was thinking a single down bar splitting in two!

I saw what you did there.:zombie3:

Kert asked me to come up with some dash wraps that would make Stomper really flip. He gave some info on a the direction Stomper would like to see the build go. Which do you guys think?

Seat belt bar and all the seat belt tabs welded in.

Last two pieces of aluminum fitted up.... Thank God those are done.

Call it the MLP truck for short then have fun trekking people what it stands for.

Those nice looking panels could use some MLP stickers...
