Test drive completed and all seems to be working properly. Obviously need some shake down time on it. That'll be up to Stomper.

We've started on the hood work. Don't look like that's gona take to terrible long to pull off.

Almost got the hood panels done today. Should have finished pictures tomorrow!!!
 
and if Kert posts up anything this early on a worknight, something has gone wrong at the shop!

We did get the hood finished. We ended the day with all the hood panels finished and cleaned up and a few things painted and drying. The tabs for the hood panels and the tube work around them had to be painted from the last bit of welding.

Here's the only pic I got for you tonight.

First thing tomorrow we reassemble all the panels and its a done deal.
 
If you can, snap a pic of the engine compartment from above....curiosity is wanting to see it!
 
She is done.

Finished up anything and everything we could think of. Wiper arms, Stomper has those at his place and will throw them on when he gets it home.

Get a bit of video when he picks it up.

Thanks guys and I agree need vid in the the dirt or the rocks!

Done is a dangerous term as these things go. I'll be quick to admit that. I'm sure there'll be some things that Stomper wants to mod here and there. There are always things that could have been done differently. I look at it this way, when you buy a new truck from the factory, somebody said it was done. Then we mod the hell out of it.

I'm sure you'll be seeing more of this one in the future.

Stay tuned for a bit longer for some video!
