'85 on big tars.(pics & video)

Finish or bust this time. It'll get done or it'll get parted out! I'm bettin' on finished.

Cool to see this back again :waytogo:

Just curious, what size were the tsl's that had been on it?

Steering put on hold for a short time.

Cab corner was welded in. (Actually, the first one i've ever done.:D)

Fuel tank mount finished. Hope to have a solution for radiator mounting by the end of the week. Radiator is gona be interesting.

Once that's done I can address some battery mounting and possibly an air tank.

Got some 49's on the steelies and the beadlocks mounted up today. I had forgotten how much time a set of those take.

Get some pics posted up tomorrow or Monday.

Them 49's is big fo sho.

Kinda funny how you get used to a tire size and it becomes "normal."

These are not normal. Forklift was a big help for the beadlocks and saved some wear and tear on the spinal column.

When I first got my 39s it took me and 2 other guys to do it, now Im so used to them I can roll one unto my shoe and rotate it around and bolt it up solo. Deff not ideal, but when no one is around, you have to take matters into your own hands. I helped my cuz bolt up his 64s on his 2.5 tons and that is a chore no matter how many people you have.

I could barely handle installing my 37's on H1's....
I can't even imagine the hell a set of 49's could raise... On my spine. :haha:

I guess I am use to installing tractor tires, so they don't seem that bad to me.

That's the, becoming "normal" part of the scenario. I imagine these will someday become that way. For now, they are huge.

em fockers are big!
looking good Kert...where is little shrek dude?:haha:

Got the lower radiator mount tacked in place. Need some rubber mounts before I can do the top mount.

Tires/wheels have been aired up and mounted.

Designed some upper mount for the tube bed and got them cut out. Also came up with a slick way to carry some extra 14BFF axle shafts without taking up any extra space.

Try and get some pics tomorrow.

expecting those 14's to last is he? What about the 60's?
good luck Brett!

One of the bed mounts. Will be 3 of these on each side plus two more points where it will be attached to the cab. When its all said and done there won't be a space between the cab and tube bed that leave the frame hangin' out there all by itself.
