Have an 85 s10 blazer, t4/np207, can i do a direct swap to a 27 spline assenger drop 208?? same adapter and oiutput shaft ??

out put shaft is the same but the adapter is not, the np207/np231 have a 5 bolt pattern while the np208/np241 is a 6 bolt pattern.

well damn what can i do to adapt it any ideas??
use the adapter that goes with the 208. The 208 adapter will bolt right up to your trannys rear. The back of the trannny is the same for full size and s-10's

which adapter though, this is a t4 tranny not offered in full sizes
