title says it all. getting ready to buy a 85 1/2 ton. just wondering what the tcase would be for that year behind the 350/700r4 combo??? also, it has auto locking hubs

yep now if it was awd it would be differnt but i dont belive they made awd after the 70's

Yes it is a 208. Auto hubs are not fulltime 4x4. They are susposed to only lock in when 4wd is engaged and there is power to the front drive shaft/axle. Alto sometimes they lock in or out as they damm well please. Thats why most people get rid of them and go manual hubs
hmmm better be a heck of a deal b/c in an '85 K10 it'll be 10b's, 1st gen 700r4, np208, auto hubs (all of which has been mentioned). I started with a 1985 K10 and have slowly but surely replaced the entire drivetrain...what do you want to do with it?
