On my 86 k5 blazer with 700r4 trans, I have everything hooked up for the lockup tcc except the 2 wire plug that goes to a temp sensor. Unfortunately, I don't have the sensor, (swapped engines), and the 2 wire plug is melted. I was wondering if I could just wire the 2 wires together for the tcc to work. Or are they susposed to be seperated for the tcc to work?

Don't know much about that setup, but shorting the two wires together likely will allow TCC to work.

Probably part of the emissions scheme, to warm the engine up faster by preventing TCC lock while the engine is cold.

yes you can wire the two wires together. with them not hooked up, tcc will not work. it is suppose to allow the engine/tranny to warm up before tcc enguages.

where is the TCC(TH350)sensor located exactly ? is it a TVS on the intake or therm housing ?

or
?
