Setting up the story... I am junking my aftermarket electric fuel pump (tired of listening to it), and I'm going back to basics of a manual fuel pump.
Today, I am trying to remember which lines go where on my manual fuel pump. Obviously a supply line comes to the fuel pump, and one returns fuel. However, the fuel pump Napa just sold me has 3 connections (two male hose style and one female npt style) fittings. My Quadrajet has a fuel in and fuel out fitting as well. So, all these damn connections don't add up.
Logic tells me my fuel pump should only have two connections (if my Quadrajet is returning unused fuel back to the tank. So, what is the third connection for at the fuel pump?
