I Just Purchased 86 A Blazer 350ci 373 Gears 33 In Tires And The Speedometer Is Reading To Fast. When I Am Going 50mph The Speedo Is Saying 65. Was There A Speedometer Adapter On The Vehicle That The Previous Owner Did Not Install Or Is There Another Problem? I Know Bigger Tires Would Slow The Speedo Down But I Have The Opposite Problem. Thanks For Your Help

I have the same issue with my '86 that has 35's and 4.56's. It's pegged at 85 when I know I'm only doing around 65-70. I just deal with it.

The speedometer gear can be changed.

Sounds to me like someone changed the axle gearing and put the big tires on without changing the speedo gear to the correct one for that gearing and tire combo.
