Hello folks, Great site!!
I have a 76 GMC seirra 1/2 ton 4X4 pick up with a 6 banger 4 gear in it.
I picked up a 86 4X4 burb with a rebuilt 4speed auto and a smokey motor with a plow on it.
And I have this rebuilt 454.
I want to put the drive train out of the burb in the 76 with the 454.
I will go with buckets and a floor shift.
Is this a plug and play deal? I,m sure frame stands will need to be changed.
The 76 has newer diffs in it had 411s but went with 308s for hiway cruising.
Also I think the Xfer case is toast with a bad vibration.
It does have a new front driveshaft in it though
The burb is rusty but 4wd works nice.
Will the plow swap to the 76?
