anybody got any good ideas for a lift kit. wanting maybe 4" at the most, daily driver all around truck.need the whole kit .

tuff country best bang for the buck. std duty springs and thay offer hd option for big block/winch/plow/or heavy work truck.

and any 1/2 - 3/4 - 1ton stuff will fit for front springs. rear springs will be 56" eye to eye. you will most likly run in to shock binding up on right rear axle position with 4" lift.

i did 4" on my 1ton with all stock parts. had to cut and reweld shock bracket to make it clear the axle and hook up to the frame bracket.

I have a four in front and six in rear with blocks no good.I put six inch springs in the rear and i am going to put six inch in the front with 35 boggers bias.my buddy has the same set up works good.did u do your high steer assist sope?

agreed i have a 4'' on my blazer and its fine, dont get me wrong i am going bigger but the 4'' is good for now

four inch is good for the street but not on the trail

4" is just fine for trails. I am by far an expert and many of the guys here have a lot more experience than I do, but you want clearance, not lift. Bigger tires = clearance. To a point, lift only gives you the clearance but so does cutting sheet metal.

When i got my 1 ton reg cab it had real shot front springs, i had a used 4inch(rancho) laying around from a truck i cut up and it sits like a 2inch is on it(prob since the springs are old and the diesel weight)...I have 2inch blocks for the rear but never installed em....i cut the corners off the fenders and 35 12.5 15 bfg muds fit good....it didnt see the offroad yet, with working so much i dont have the time now... that might not help ya much but here is what it looks like.... to make the steering work with the 60 i used the block and a dropped pitman..
