I was wondering why the 1 ton kit wont work with the diesel..any ideas?

86 CUCV 3 in. body lift?

Most lift companies just never took the time/expense to ensure their product fit the diesels (not enough sold). Same body lift issues as with gas engined trucks exist.

I would think anything that is hard mounted to the body and the frame or engine together would need to be dealt with, the fuel filter comes to mind, I believe it has hard lines?

I dont know about the early model spin on filter but the later model box filters are plumbed with hose.

Well I heard back from a distributer of the body lift and they said its because of cooling issues..lol Any truck with a body lift could have that problem. Looks like I'll just go ahead and order the kit. Thanks guys
