I just bought one for $500, its in decent shape, 4x4, 4 speed, long bed. Runs but not very well, he said it runs good then out of the blue it feels like you hook a really heavy trailer to it and has no power. Im thinking dizzy and/or carb problems. He also said everything works. Anyway no real rust just a few small dents and dings and a busted wndsheild.

Is the transfer case a 208? Would it have a hydro clutch?

I cant go get it for a while, the keys are in colorado with his wife.

parts truck.........

sorry no pics yet either.

I probably wouldnt have bought it but they are out of work and have a 2 year old boy. So they need the cash.

Plus, your collection is getting a bit slim so you needed to add another.

I believe that would have the 208 transfer in it, although I could be wrong.

I'd give it 90% likely hood that it has a 208 and hydro clutch. Given the assumption that the truck is original...

if you really want this truck id go get it ASAP you never know if the guy is gonna change his mind or something else comes up where he dont want to sell it. just have a tow truck come get it just to get it on your property

Dont think its an issue they are practically moved to colorado and he has no way to fix it or move it and it needs to be gone.

Off-Topic, but how's that wiring project from Ez-Wire coming? Good buy on the truck BTW.

updated the wiring thread.

Went over and got a few pics of this parts truck. Didnt spend much time as there are already people moving in to the house.
