86 ignition problems,starting issues

my k5 ive only been driving for a few days and on day 2 it wouldnt start,nothing at all,I tilted the steering wheel up and down maybe seeing if it was a loose connection,and it does start on the lowest tilt setting sometime or if i wiggle it between the lowest and middle tilt setting

bad connection? im lookin on input before i tear into this thing,and also lookin for tips on getting to the connection if it is loose

Hmm.... Maybe loose wire at the ignition module?
Loose connection in the key cylinder?
