This is nuts. Not perfect either if you look at the detailed pictures. Glad the seller got some good money but the bidders are getting stupid.

There was an '86 for $106K and an '84 for $50K at Scottsdale early in the sale.
I didn't see much talk about the '72 that went for $200K after the big dollar one grabbed the attention.

Yes, it seems like things have gotten crazy!

What was the rough area on the left top of tail gate.

That truck was all over instagram the last two weeks. It’s coming from a collector car sales place. Otherwise it’s a gussied up used car dealer. From what pics I looked at there were a lot of little issues. When questioned about it there were a lot of trolls that came to the shops defense.

It’s a money grab not an enthusiast building with intent and from the heart.

I think this was the same blazer. Shows $97k but with fees it must be $106k. Don't get me wrong, they are nice but come on. Not a frame off either.

Not sure but it had several flaws in it.

Yeah including title and the carfax. I don't get it.

makes me sick to see this . . . 70k for a all 1/2 ton street queen but our member just sold his on ebay and it was BUILT and he only pulled 30,100 bucks .
Agree. That 75 K5 on ebay would have sold for more if he got the dent fixed and cleaned it up more with some detail work. I think if it was detailed and listed on BAT he would have gotten more. It was definitely more capable then the maroon mall crawler with the 1/2 tons and automatic hubs.

I will say this with a clean example of a solid Blazer it is getting to that point where money can be made. Blazers are following right along with early broncos and fj40 land cruisers bringing to us, crazy money. It’s just getting to a point where those that can’t build their own are willing to pay to buy one already done.

Some are capitalizing with trucks that are really photogenic but lack true quality fit and finish. That red one is a prime example. If I plunked down that amount and the transporter showed up with it and I got to look at it in person I’d be pissed. But chances are whoever bought it won’t know and if they did figure out the flaws they would be incredibly embarrassed to point them out because of the stupid price paid for it. I’m betting there will be some phone calls or messages to the seller and like most used car lots they will hold to the “as is, no warranties” line and tell him to pound sand.

Just shitty seeing folks get taken advantage of.

X2 @ZooMad75 . Friend years ago got a chevelle off ebay from cali high end car flipper . Worst part was he didnt tell any of his true car friends for over 3 months and past the point of dispute claim filing .

Its got a th350 NOT 700r4 . . 427 tall deck NOT 454 ho . . Fixed frame . . Wood screws holding interior together . . Sh!t paint job . . The stuff i found wrong from listing was over 10k in price of the parts alone . .

Pay some trusted person or company to check it for you before you buy .
