1986 Chevy K-5 Blazer Silverado 4x4
White exterior/grey interior
Body/frame has ~135,000 on it.
New Crate 350 Motor - ~1500 miles since installation
Swapped a TBI system from 87 Blazer - BAR'd last week - passed SMOG
Edelbrock TBI Intake
Edelbrock TBI camshaft
MSD Coil & Wires
New AC Delco Plugs, cap and rotor
New TBI distributor from summit when engine installed
New radiator and hoses when engine installed
New catalytic converter and AC Delco O2 sensor
New K&N filter
Summit tachometer/B&M tranny temp guage
130A powermaster alternator
Optima red top battery
Stage 3 Bowtie Overdrives 700-R4 - ~500 miles since installation
New Bowtie overdrives torque converter - 1800 stall
New B&M tranny cooler
New GM TV Cable
Front and rear driveshafts from Highangledriveline.com
Front has 1350CV at transfer case, 1310 at axle
Rear has 1350CV at transfer case, 1350 at axle
NP-241 transfer case, recently rebuilt with new seals and chain
JB Conversions Slip Yoke Eliminator
Front 10 bolt axle with 8 lug outers
Rear 14 bolt FF axle with 13" drums
Both axles are open and 4:10 geared
Front lifted 6" with Tuff country Lift springs
Rear lifted with Off Road Design 4" shackle flip and a 2" add-a-leaf. Also has a zero rate on the rear for 1" of lift and to move the axle back 1".
36x12.50/16 Super Swamper Radials on 16x10 rock crawler steelies (black) - tires have about 40% on the rear and ~65% on the front
800W AC Inverter mounted below driver seat.
MV-50 air compressor mounted behind driver seat.
Has trailer hitch and trailer wiring harness
Issues:
Speedometer doesn't work right now. I am not sure if the cable is snapped or is just not pushed on the back of the speedo enough. The ECM for the TBI is getting a proper speed reading from the sender at the tranny, so the speedo gears are fine.
A/C is all there, but needs a recharge. I would actually just convert over to 134....and replace seals, etc.
Lovely GM paint is starting to chip on portions of the truck. The black primer is still in good condition though. THere is really no rust on the truck to speak of.
Front seats need new covers. The fabric on the bottom cushions is tearing/missing.
Other than that, the truck is in great condition. It runs really well, just pulled a trailer with ATV's and a truckfull of people down to Pismo and it handled very well. THe reason for selling it is that I just bought a new diesel and need to get rid of my excess cars.
$6000 OBO
