The motor is at the very bottom of the door, which sucks and is why I switched to manual. This is kinda hard to explain but here it is. First you got to get the window out, being in the down poss. makes it harder, there's a track on the bottom of the window where the scissor mechanism is attached with two rollers. In the middle of the track is a cut out where the rollers are installed into the track. For the roller's to come out of the track you have to align the cut out with the rollers, major pain in the ass. With the window in the down poss., this is pretty much impossible because the scissors are spread open. Also you have to pull the wing window out, two screws on top of the door and one bolt on the inside of the door, rite below your wing window handle is a pinch screw that sandwiches the wing window frame in the door, need to take this out. Also sometimes door mirrors have a support bracket on the inside of the door that needs to come out. If you can't get the window up, you're probably gonna have to take the bolts out that hold the scissor assembly to the door, the motor is part of this assembly. Be careful because the assembly and the window will try to fall down in the door. But this will allow you to shift and turn things to get the window out, again pain in the ass. Take your time and don't get frustrated. Once you get it all apart and out of the door you'll see how simple the assembly really is.
