86 k5 steering???

My pump is screaming for mercy and puk'en fluid. I run 35's now but plan to go to 37's.... should I just replace the factory stuff or should I go with an after market setup including a new streering box? I do very little rock crawling....

Your steering shouldn't be working hard with 35's. You probably do need a new power steering pump. How does the gear box feel when you turn?

Is the pump making whining noises?

If it is whining you need to replace pump.

Go with the aftermarket stuff.

If it's whining check fluid level. If it's leaking get yourself a new gasket kit from your local parts palace, I think mine was $9. Your stock stuff should be fine with 35's, I have the same year and I run 35's. Should be fine with 37's as well.
