I'm pretty sure from when I did my 2 that the '91 had a different TPS connector but the '87 to '90 were the same. On my '91 I actually spliced together both the early and late connectors so that I could use either TB. I believe all other connecters are the same except for the fuel pump relay and maybe the IAC? Though maybe this is a '91 change again. Although Painless wiring do several pigtail connectors to get over such problems.so will a 1990 tbi intake setup work with the 87 ecu wiring? i don't see why it wouldn't, but if anyone has had any first hand experience that would be cool. thanks!
thanks a bunch, should i run some short of painless kit?
I'd just offer it all up and see where your connectors differ then phone Painless and tell them what you need!thanks a bunch, should i run some short of painless kit?
That's the loom I used when I put a '90 motor in my old '78. Very good set up with all the alternative pigtails you may need.
i just read something about drilling the intake if i use my old heads, but i wont have any problems using later heads (90's) on an 85 right?
